  3.                   DEMON INTERNET INSTALL AmigaDIS (v2.00)
  4.                   =======================================

  6. The setup program installs AmigsNOS,TIN and the AmigaElm packages on 
  7. your hard disk.  It copies a few utilities (find, jed) to your
  8. SYS:c directory, arp and reqtools libraries to LIBS: and a few fonts
  9. to the FONTS: area.
  10.  
  11. It also copies the script file "dis-startup" to the S: directory. This 
  12. script needs to be run as part of your startup-sequence.  To do this add 
  13. the following line to the end of your "user-startup" file on S:
  14.  
  15.     execute s:dis-startup
  16.  
  17. If you have not installed DIS in WORK:AmigaNOS then you will need to modify
  18. just the top line of dis-startup. 
  19.  
  20. Then re-boot the amiga so that the assigns in this file take effect.
  21.  
  22. The AmigaDIS window should contain the folowing icons:
  23.  
  24.    Connect      This should dial and connect to Demon Internet.  When 
  25.         conected mail and news transfers will take place in 
  26.         background, with information shown in the status window.

  28.    Read_Mail    This starts AmigaELM mail reader.  Note when your editor is
  29.         started when you mail or reply, the editor window will be
  30.         behind the Elm window.  Press Right-Amiga+M to bring the
  31.         editor window to the front.

  33.    Read_News    This starts the TIN News Reader.  Any new news postings
  34.         will be un-batchd first, this can take some time. On exit
  35.         from news and postings you have made will be batched ready
  36.         to transmit the next time you connect.

  38.    Trim_News    This Removes old News Articles after a preset time set
  39.         when you added the newsgroup to your file.
  40.  
  41.    Setup        Use the setup program whenever you wish to change the list
  42.         of newsgroups that you subscrive to.
  43.  
  44.    NOS_Docs     Various hep files about NOS, Elm and TIN.  I hope to update
  45.         these very soon.

  47.    Clear_Locks  If your system crashes while running NOS it may leave 
  48.         lock files behind.  This just clears up the lock files.
  49.  
  50. At a later stage you may wish to edit the folowing files
